
My tribute to Dr. Wu

Dr. Wu was a giant of a man, humble, full of grace, full of God's grace.
In Psalms 1, it talks about a "blessed is the man":
-who meditates on thethings of the Lord day and night (that was Dr.Wu)
-he is like a tree planted by streams ofwater yielding fruit (that was Dr. Wu)
-because of God's favor, all he does prospers (that was Dr. Wu)
I was blessed like manypeople to have been able to observe how Dr. Wu lived his life.
-we often had lunch together
-made trips to China
-traveled to many places in China
-visited villages where Dr. Wu cared for the sick
-we made a trip from China to Tibet by train and met with awesome believers
-we served on the Board of Christian Vision for China
-Dr Wu was one of the founding directors of Christian Vision for China
-attended the 2008 Olympics in China
-and much more could be listed
Dr. Wu loved his family:
-often telling me the latest news abouthis two grandsons
-always mentioned his son, Dickson's medical mission trips
-loved his church and his involvement ingoing on mission trips
DR. WU WAS A GIANT OF A MAN, HUMBLE, FULL OF GRACE, FULL OF GOD'S GRACE.
-meditated on God's Word day and night
-like a tree planted by streams of water, he yielded much fruit
-because of God's favor, all he did prospered
Dr. Wu's favorite versesare:
-Psalms 73:25, "Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you."
-Psalms 48:14 "...that this isGod, our God forever and ever. He will guide us forever."
